So far, this book is going okay but the story plot is quite interesting though. It is about these three kids who are going to be "unwound". Being "unwound" is pretty scary; it is when the unwound child's organs are transplanted into different owners. The worst part about that is.... it is not the government's choice for the children to be unwound but the parent's choice. Now, if I was the children being unwound, I would be super duper pissed and hurt that my parents would send me off like that to donate all my organs. It gives a sense that the parents don't care about you. Anyways, there was one main character that I have encountered through so far. The first main character is a sixteen year old boy named Connor. He found out that he was going to be "unwound" after he was looking through his dad's papers on his desk. The papers included 3 plane tickets to the Bahamas and a signed agreement paper for Connor being unwound. That was when it made all sense to him that he was going to be unwound. 3 plane tickets for his mom, dad, and his little brother. Connor being the one to donate all his organs... He plans to run away with his crush, Ariana, and started packing. The plan backfires after Ariana said that she doesn't want to run away with him because of his sister's wedding, but Connor pursues to keep going and ran away anyways. He runs off and sees that there are many trucks in the rest stop area and also sees that there are cops roaming around. Connor is freaking out and then at a split second decided to run into the truck that had its door open. He sprints his butt off to the truck and hides in there while the truck driver was in the bathroom. The truck driver found out but after seeing panic and terror in Connor's eyes, he decided to allow him to stay with him till morning. That didn't go too well ..... the dad called him on his cell phone. Then he heard the truck driver telling him to come out now. Connor with a thankful heart agreed to come out and as he did.... he saw a cop smiling, cops and his dad in the corner. He then decided to run from them and headed for the highway.
Sounds like a good book to read, a lot of drama, I would really like to read this book, it caught my attention.
